Courgette Carbonara

1 - Cut courgette into long strips then boil it until the bubbles show.
2 - Slice and dice the tomatoes as well as the capsicum.
3- Slice and dice the onions into small squares.
4- Transfer all the ingredients onto a plate.
5- Fry the ingredients in a big pan then add cream with cheese.
6- Grab a colander and drain all  the water out of the courgette.
7- Combine the courgette and vegetables together then eat it.

Cabbage With Silver Slide Stew

How to Make Cabbage with Silverside Stew.

Ingredients:
Potato
Onion
Cabbage
Carrot
Beef
Cauliflower

Equipment-
Pan
Carrot peeler
Bowls
Knife
Cutting board

Step one - Slice and dice your potatoes and onions and put into a pot with hot water. Then wait for the potatoes to soften up.
Step two - Peel your carrot and slice it into the pot.
Step three -  Slice and dice your cabbage and cauliflower and put it inside the pot.
Step four - Then slice your mushrooms and dice the beef and add it to the pot.
When everything is cooked you can take it off the heat and serve in a bowl.

Cooking With Mrs Tuipulotu

On Wednesday Room 12 had Technicraft at Tamaki College.
We were separated into 3 groups, my group and I went to cooking with Mrs Tuipulotu.  My partner and I made very good pancakes.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup of flower
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of milk 
Combine all ingredients together then fry it on a pan. Make sure you see the bubbles popping so you can flip it. 
We had also decorated with chocolate syrup. I had lots of fun making our own pancakes. 

Back To school!!

Monday was my first day back at school.

As soon as I saw the door I walked in slowly as I was nervous and excited. Although the classroom felt different, due to the fact that I hadn't been attending school for a while, my emotions were running high.

This year is going to be a hard and unexpected so, I have to show a positive attitude towards everything I do. I have prepared goals for me to work on so I can improve on things as it is my last year.

I hope I can be better than before!!

Top Three Facts About New Zealand

There are lots of facts about New Zealand but I’m going to tell you three of my favourite facts.
1- Did you know that there are no snakes in New Zealand.

2-  The two offical languages in New Zealand are English and  Maori.
3- Thirty percent of New Zealand is forest.

Powhiri Form Miss Hamilton!

On Thursday everyone was filled with mixed emotions. We held a powhiri to see our new principle. Mrs Vickers, Ms George (Chairperson) and Mrs Hamilton (New principal) sat on chairs at the front row. Before they walked into the multi purpose room we had to sing a karanga to welcome them.
When we finished, Mrs Vickers said her speech and talked about her retiring. We were very upset, some were even crying, because we didn't want Mrs Vickers to leave but we knew it was the right thing for her.

Last Day At Tech

Today was our last session at tech cooking with Mrs tuipulotu. We made sausages with cheese and chips.
 This is how you cook Sausages With Cheese
step one - slice the sausages in half

-top up with cheese and tomatoes

-Bake for ten minute
serve with tomato sauce.
