Manaiakalani Film Festival!

Image result for cinema
Every year we go to the cinemas to watch short films that student have created, Two students go on stage and present on what here film is based on.

When we went on Wednesday to the cinemas, I was excited to see all the interesting films but mostly exited to watch our schools one. Our classes film was formed on sign language. My favourite one was a tamaki college film because it represents how different and unique people are and we cant judge them.

This year was my last year going manaiakalani but I had a good time for my last year and enjoyed watching the films.

Manaiakalani

On Wednesday my school and I went to Sylvia Park to watch different movies by other schools.

Before we went to watch the movies we had a rule, which was to be quiet while watching a movie. When we first walked inside the cinema it was really dark and noisy. I was very excited when the first movie started.

My favourite movie was when the Point England students did carpool karaoke because they had different characters that matched their song.

It was very sad to see it end though, because there were lots of good movies and I wanted to see more.

The manaiakalani festival

In the afternoon Glen Innes School and Tamaki Collage went to the  manaiakalani film festival. Ruapotaka School went on three buses to the Silva park. When we arrived to Sylvia park I saw a lot of awesome movies. We sat on the ground to wait for other schools to come down. My favourite movie was "The Focuser" I liked it because they scored a lot of goals.
