Poem!!

On Friday we did poems. Mr Reid choose me and six other students. My poem was about life and the meaning to it. I was really nervous to do my poem in front of a lot of students but I managed to calm down.

When it was almost my turn I got really shy but I stood up there and did my poem . I mumbled a little bit but got through it.

When I revived my certificate I
felt proud that I did well.

Tech!!

Today at tech Mrs Ferguson started to create our games with the 3d print. Before we start making it 3d we had to visualize how we wanted to create it ad try make it come to life. 

I found out that if we wanted to make it 3d we had to put each set of shapes on another design. Mine is going to take a long time because I have 16 small pieces and big board.

 I hope I finish by the end of this term.

Glass Cracks On the Sky Towers Building

Apparently the Glass deck at the sky tower where people walk on to get a good point of view was unexpectedly cracked.

There are three platforms layers of glass. The one at the top has been cracked. The glass will be fixed so none is allowed to visit the area.

I hope they get this fixed as soon as possible so people can observe our land

Tech!

At tech we arrived late so we didn't have time  to finish of our slide. We designed our board game with Plasticine. In the beginning the Plasticine was very hard and cold but it took a while to make it soft. I decided to make a dice its was very fun to play with Plasticine.

At tech we had to design a game on tinkercad. I decided to build a game called "ludo".

In the beginning process I felt like it wouldn't be that good enough, but since I've been halfway through this journey I feel a lot more confident.

New Term

Term three has officially started after a two weeks  holiday.  New things will appear during the term  that we have to work hard for. Students will have the chance to enter the netball interschools and be involved with the skip off.  

I am going to try work hard as I have on more term left. 

Tamaki Estuary!

On Monday the Auckland Zoo members organised a trip for us at tamaki Estuary. Some people split into groups and some went  partners. We walked around the area picking up trash. I was shocked of how much plastic I found lying around.

I was happy to collect rubbish and throw it into the bin so nothing can harm the sea animals and the environment is clean.

I would love to pick up rubbish in my own time to save the animals.
