A New Year With Liza!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome back everybody...

 Kia Ora My name is Liza I am 9 years old and I go to Ruapotaka School  I'm am in room 10 and Im also a year six. I am Congolese from Africa . My favourite food is lollies, chicken ,meat, sweet corn and sausages. My favourite hobbies are playing on my iPad cause its lots of fun and playing with my friends outside but mostly I like  spending time with my family. My favourite sport is soccer because I always score a goal, touch cause I always get the ball and gymnastics because I can do different tricks and I can do the splits. My favourite subject at school is reading cause im really good at it and maths cause I think its fun. My goal for this year is to try my best at answering questions that the teacher has given me. I also need to understand the meaning of the text when I'm reading. My favourite band is little mix and fifth harmony because thy have my favourite songs are in there.

On the first day of the cyber smart we learnt how to hold our Chromebook and gently put it away.We have been doing cyber smart every Tuesdays now miss grant has been teaching  us  a lot thank you for reading this.

The Amazing Run, Jump, Throw

On Wednesday Coach Declan taught us how to throw a discus. We put our fingers around the discus then we clapped our hands. After we clapped our hands we threw it.

On the the last amazing day we did shot put and he put lots of bean bags on the court. We tried to throw them at the other team.

The manaiakalani festival

In the afternoon Glen Innes School and Tamaki Collage went to the  manaiakalani film festival. Ruapotaka School went on three buses to the Silva park.When we arrived to Sylvia park I saw a lot of awesome movies. We sat on the ground to wait for other schools to come down. My favourite movie was "The Focuser" I liked it because they scored a lot of goals.

Our trip to the botanic garden

 

After morning tea we went on three buses to the botanic gardens. We went to see the beautiful flowers. One garden we saw was the rose garden. We drew pictures of roses. My favourite flower was the red rose. I liked it because it was pretty and had a prickly stalk.
